A tiny TV high up in one corner A crowded room in the heart of a zoo In the heart of noisy, bustling Chicago... A little girl craning her neck Straining to see the TV, Barely able to make out the outline of a huge elephant and two men. The girl tugs on her father's pants He lifts her up so she can see. Although he looks like some kind of weird tree, the TV becomes quite clear. The two men are standing at the rear of the elephant. Suddenly their hands reach up A wet, round bundle falls to the floor, Its fall broken by the men's hands. The two men begin drying it off with towels As the new mother turns around and sniffs it with her trunk. The men are treating it like fragile glass! There is never a clear view of the shiny baby But even as the little girl is only 4 years old She knows that this is one miracle many people wish they could see.
