Banana Date Bread

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine flours, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
  2. Add dates and walnuts to flour mixture.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together oil and honey until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, bananas, and vanilla to oil mixture.
  5. Combine the two mixtures just until blended. Do not overstir.
  6. Put the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. If the top gets too dark before it is done baking, cover with foil and continue baking.
