Durkee French Fried Onion Chicken Tenders

  1. Empty the can of onions into a ziploc bag and seal, squeezing all the air out of the bag as you do so.
  2. Crush onions with a rolling pin until they are completely ground into large crumbs.
  3. In a small bowl, beat egg.
  4. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
  5. One at a time, dip each chicken tenderloin into the egg and then in the onion crumbs, turning to coat, and then lay flat in a single layer on the cookie sheet.
  6. Pour any remaining egg and onion over the chicken.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes.
