Pumpkin Pie
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 4 large eggs
- 1 29-ounce can pumpkin puree
- 1 12-ounce can evaporated milk
- 2 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crusts
Directions:
- Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a small bowl.
- Beat eggs in a large bowl.
- Add pumpkin puree and sugar-spice mixture to eggs.
- Gradually stir in evaporated milk.
- Divide and pour into pie shells.
- Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 40 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center of pies comes out clean.
