Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Snap off stems of mushrooms and mince them.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and sauté 10 minutes.
  4. Add mushroom stems and sauté 5 minutes more.
  5. Toast bread slices until golden, then crumble into skillet.
  6. Stir in seasonings.
  7. Place a piece of butter from remaining tablespoon inside each mushroom cap.
  8. Stuff with bread mixture, press in and mound.
  9. Arrange stuffed mushrooms in a buttered pie plate.
  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until brown and tender.
